In Linz, the Tabakfabrik welcomes you to a very special setting for events. The location was completed in 1935 and is now a listed building due to its architectural value.
Look forward to almost unlimited possibilities for the realisation of your individual events. In addition to concerts, readings and art or cultural events, business events such as conferences, seminars, trade fairs, congresses or presentations as well as workshops, exhibitions and lectures are also in good hands here.
The venue offer
The Tabakfabrik has around 80,000 m² of covered floor space, of which 5,500 m² plus 8,000 m² of outdoor space are available for events, and is one of the most important industrial buildings in Europe. For your events, there are various easily adaptable rooms on the extensive premises.
The 1,300 m² Lösehalle was once the heart of tobacco production and is suitable for events of up to 850 people - but can also be expanded in terms of capacity. Experience industrial chic up close here and take advantage of the state-of-the-art technical equipment. The space includes several smaller adjoining rooms such as checkrooms, production office or ticket office and two walkways to the outside. At the heart of the factory is the Marktplatz in Building 1.
If you're looking for an open-air solution, the 8,000 m² Peter Behrens Square is just the right place. It is located in the inner courtyard and has already been the backdrop for events with around 7,000 people.
Online Events & Hybrid Events at the Tabakfabrik
New to the repertoire: the 140 m² Nautilus room. Here, the Tabakfabrik has created a laboratory for expeditions that go deep. The research station, designed with great attention to detail, offers extensive technical possibilities - innovative presentation and conference technologies also make it possible to combine online and offline events, so-called hybrid events. Up to 70 guests (Corona-compliant up to 30 people) can get to the bottom of topics and issues in workshops, seminars and presentations at Nautilus.
An experienced team is at your side from the very beginning. The rooms are almost all equipped with basic technical equipment, and proven partners will adapt or supplement this for you if necessary. There are also cooperations for catering and services, which you can use, but do not have to.
