Your events at “Villa Seilern”
In the middle of Bad Ischl, you will find a very special event location – the “Villa Seilern”. The building, which was built in 1881, has a historic ambience and optically resembles the architecture of Schönbrunn Palace. Renowned musicians like Strauss, Brahms and Beethoven have already made themselves comfortable here and even Empress Elisabeth enjoyed the peace on site. Today, our premises invite you to conduct individual events.
Already in the front garden of the villa, you can welcome your guests with a reception or for various events. The lobby is always an alternative for bad weather or as a room for a welcome desk, registration or cozy and intimate fireplace discussions. The gallery (80m²) is mainly known for its constantly changing exhibitions. Maybe it is the right place for your personal requirements? As further and larger option, we have space in in our open air location. At this venue, you could organize concerts and fashion shows or similar big events; how about a car or product presentation on site?
Meetings at a historical site
Our four parlors are waiting for you with daylight and a friendly atmosphere. Take advantage of the “Villa Seilern” as a conference or seminar hotel and profit from our flexible offers on site! The parlor Ischl is ideally suited for conferences or presentations with up to 60 guests. With high walls, unique wing doors and mocha-cream-colored ambience, the bright room radiates special warmth. The parlor Seilern impresses with a glittering chandelier on the ceiling and original preserved wallpaper. On 60 m², it can accommodate 50 people. The parlor Austria (46 m²) is equipped with green wall paints and a stucco border and can be used for meetings or conferences in cozy surroundings with up to 44 people. The red parlor is the smallest room with 30 m². Groups of up to 15 people can talk, develop ideas or simply use it for your coffee breaks! In addition, the library is suitable for up to 10 visitors as a retreat with a relaxing atmosphere.
Of course, we have high-class conference technology on-site. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue, moreover you can use a projector, screen, presenter, flipchart and pin board, if required. We also provide pens and pads for you. Should you have any further wishes, please do not hesitate to contact us and we gladly organize it for you!

Of course, our venue is suitable for various team building events, a works outing or further incentives. Check-in at the stylish hotel, enjoy the daylight-flooded rooms with unique facilities including comfortable pinewood beds and relax in the wellness area. On 800 m², you can relax in the 32° warm water of the indoor pool or you can make yourself comfortable in one of the comfort zones. In our sauna world, you can enjoy an organic sauna, aroma steam bath and an infrared cabin – just everything you need to relax!
Together with our partner “Outdoor Leadership”, we are offering various incentive packages for you. Get yourself on a raft built by your group at “Float o. Mania” or go on a snow safari. The Natural Ropes Course will let you lose your ground and strengthens the sense of unity. Each of these activities makes individual players to a team by guarantee! If you want it a little bit quieter but not less fun, the “Teamkitchen” is the best offer. Together with our chef, you can create tasty menus which can be dined together afterwards.
Your private dream wedding
Such a romantic venue as the “Villa Seilern” is, of course, an ideal venue for unforgettable wedding celebrations. Take advantage of the front garden for the guests’ reception and amaze them with a wedding ceremony in our conservatory by the unique flair. For the celebrations, we offer both – our open space which we transform into your dream oasis with decoration elements as well as the stylish parlors which you can approach through the red carpet. Up to 80 guests can sit down in the inner courtyard and celebrate together with the bride and groom an unforgettable day, including the first wedding waltz.
Of course, culinary delights are ensured during your great day. Together with our chef, you will plan a harmonious menu (by the way, we will also prepare individual menu cards for each event) and finally admire our imposing and homemade wedding cake. We consider every special request and satisfy meat or fish lovers as well as vegetarian or vegan people. Our chefs are specialized in preparing meals for guests with intolerances and will create a delicious menu for them. We cook only with ingredients from regional organic cultivation. This is why we are awarded with the “Grüne Haube” Award! Whether fine wines, delicious cocktails or alcohol-free refreshments – our list of beverages completes the culinary offer.
An unforgettable celebration will await you with colorful balloons rising to the sky, burning wood hearts and atmospheric music. The various venues are a perfect setting for your wedding photos, too.
